Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Gym Cleaner/Housekeeping Porter to join our team. This paid position is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our prestigious club’s facilities. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and committed to providing a pristine environment for our members and guests.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of gym areas, locker rooms, showers, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly to uphold health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of fitness equipment, mirrors, floors, and fixtures
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials as needed
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Support general housekeeping duties across the club’s facilities to ensure a welcoming environment
Experience
- Prior experience in similar roles is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods

Pay: £31,800.00-£36,800.00 per year
