As a Technical Support Officer in our Midlands, London and Southeast region, you will play a key role in delivering added value services to clients and supporting the successful operation of LHCPG frameworks. Working closely with the Senior Technical Support Manager and the wider LHC team, you will provide both project and technical support, helping clients, partners and contractors to achieve successful procurement and project outcomes. From attending project meetings and carrying out site visits to reviewing technical documentation and providing guidance on LHCPG products and services, you'll act as a trusted point of contact for a range of stakeholders. You'll also help ensure compliance with framework requirements, support quality assurance activities, and represent LHC across the construction and procurement sectors.
Key aspects of the role include:

Supporting projects throughout their lifecycle, including attending meetings, monitoring progress and helping to resolve project-related queries

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, Appointed Companies (AppCos), contractors and other key stakeholders

Providing technical and procurement support, including the review of tender documentation, validation of contractor pricing and guidance on LHC frameworks and services

Undertaking site and factory visits to monitor quality, compliance and adherence to specifications

Promoting LHC's products and services through stakeholder engagement, industry events and marketing activities
What we are looking for:
You'll have experience within the construction, building or housing sector and a good understanding of building products, services and project delivery. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, is comfortable working independently and can provide practical support and advice to a wide range of stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

At least five years' experience working in a building, construction or housing environment

A vocational qualification in a building, construction or technical discipline

A good understanding of construction products, services and technical documentation

Experience using databases, CRM systems, or platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with everyone from site teams to senior leaders

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload across multiple projects and locations

A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to work independently and take ownership of tasks

The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues
You'll also need a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel throughout the region, including occasional overnight stays.
