You'll be the person making sure complex M&E systems are tested, integrated, commissioned and handed over properly, working alongside specialist subcontractors, project teams, clients and the wider professional team.
About the Role
You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of M&E commissioning activities, ensuring everything is delivered against programme, quality and cost expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the complete M&E commissioning process.
- Coordinating specialist commissioning subcontractors and trade contractors.
- Reviewing commissioning method statements and witnessing site testing.
- Coordinating testing, commissioning and system integration.
- Managing water treatment and utility interfaces.
- Reviewing service designs within your discipline.
- Working closely with clients, consultants and project teams.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in hearing from Mechanical or Electrical Commissioning Managers who have substantial experience delivering commissioning on domestic and/or commercial building services projects.
You'll ideally have:
- A recognised Mechanical/Electrical installation or engineering qualification.
- Proven commissioning experience within M&E/building services.
- Previous project management experience.
- SMSTS.
- Strong understanding of complex M&E systems and commissioning sequences.
- Experience managing specialist subcontractors.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work under pressure.
CSA Level 4+ would be advantageous but isn't essential.
