Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Bank Care Assistant to join our team on a flexible basis. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care in our care service Lily House. Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support individuals in maintaining their independence and dignity
- Follow personalised care plans to deliver tailored support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with meals and drinks
- Document care provided accurately in accordance with organisational policies
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and their families to ensure consistent care delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in supporting others
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts as needed
