We’re looking for friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic people to join our wonderful Front of House team at Cherries at Abbey Farm for the season ahead.
Cherries is a small, independent, award-winning café set in beautiful countryside surroundings in Abbotsbury. We’re a busy and welcoming venue where no two days are ever the same. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere for both our customers and our team, making it a genuinely lovely place to work with a supportive environment and a great team around you.
Providing a personal experience for our customers is incredibly important to us — we love getting to know the people who visit us, and we never want anyone to feel like “just another customer.”
What the role involves:
- Making coffees, drinks and other refreshments
- Serving food and providing excellent customer service
- Supporting with cleaning and keeping the café looking its best
- Taking an equal share of all cleaning duties in the café and the kitchen
- Working closely with the kitchen team during busy services
- Helping create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Supporting with occasional evening events throughout the season
What we’re looking for:
- A positive and friendly attitude
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Someone who can reliably commute to Abbotsbury for shifts
- Experience is helpful but not essential
Our Front of House Manager will provide full support and training, so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in hospitality or join a lovely workplace with a strong team spirit.
