Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team Working on various jobs across the midland.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various phases ensuring that all groundwork is completed to the highest standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Own transport & small tool is a must
Responsibilities;
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand tools and power tools
- Fabricate and assemble structural components such as walls and floors
- Conduct masonry work such as laying bricks or stones
- Lay paving slabs & block paving to a high standard.
- Install fencing & barriers.
- All aspects Groundworks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Ability to read drawings
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Experience
- Previous experience in groundwork is a Must
- Familiarity with operating basic construction tools and machinery is advantageous.
- A valid CSCS/NPORS is a must.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential.
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices is required.
