Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic whilst working three days per week in a self employed role. The practice is a 2 surgery mixed dental clinic in Wembley. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice, maintaining high standards of patient care, and managing a team of dental professionals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to contribute to a welcoming and efficient dental environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the dental practice team, including dental hygienists, receptionists, and administrative staff
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and billing processes to optimise operational efficiency
- Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, expense control, and revenue tracking
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and industry standards
- Handle human resources responsibilities including recruitment, staff training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution
- Maintain excellent patient service standards by addressing concerns promptly and effectively
- Coordinate with dental practitioners to ensure clinical operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Implement practice policies and procedures to enhance workflow and patient satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental setting
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Knowledge of financial management principles relevant to healthcare practices
- Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment, training, and staff development
- Previous veterinary or dental experience is highly desirable but not essential; relevant healthcare management experience is required
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude

Pay: £24,420.00-£45,785.31 per year
