An exciting opportunity for a Head Chef has arisen with an independently owned pub & restaurant based in the Stockton area.
The role will involve all aspects of the day to day running of a busy kitchen from menu planning and costings, recruitment and training of staff, liaising with suppliers and negotiating contracts as well as ensuring quality control of every dish that leaves the kitchen.
We are looking for someone with experience in producing high quality, fresh locally sourced food on a high volume basis with a minimum of 2 years working experience within a similar industry at a similar level.
The working shifts are 5 out of 7 days with 2 days off, working approximately 48 hours per week. There is an opportunity for an immediate start and pay will be negotiable depending on experience.
There is also a generous performance related bonus available with this role.
