Seeking experienced, safe and hardworking Truck Drivers with a Class 2 truck licence. The successful candidate will be required to safely transport our products from our site in Corby to several drops within a 150 mile radius, and return to Corby. The fleet is owned by the company and is maintained externally.
The truck/van will be pre-loaded the night before, so some early starts will be required. Minimum of 40 hours per week, although overtime is frequent (within working hours regulations).
Workdays are Mon-Fri only, with bank holidays and Christmas period off. Regular hours are 0800 - 1630, although drivers will be required to start earlier to ensure site drops reach customers at the requested time. On these occassions drivers may finish earlier.
Requirements:
- Class 2 driving experience is essential
- Must hold a valid CPC certificate
- Must have a digital tachograph card
Responsibilities:
- Conduct the collection and delivery of goods, across UK mainland
- Complete safety checks of the vehicle prior to leaving site and on return, reporting any defects to the management team
- Ensure the safe and legal operation of the vehicle at all times, in line with company standard
- Complete any collection and delivery paperwork accurately and on-time
