As a CCTV Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and support of CCTV and associated security systems across customer sites. Working in a field-based environment, you will deliver high-quality service, ensuring security systems operate reliably, efficiently, and in line with customer requirements. Under the guidance of experienced supervisors and technical specialists, you will develop your expertise in system configuration, fault diagnosis, networked video solutions, and technology upgrades while contributing to exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence.

Install, configure, and commission CCTV and security systems at customer sites.

Perform preventative maintenance and reactive service activities in line with customer requirements.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system-related faults.

Support the upgrade, expansion, and replacement of CCTV infrastructure.

Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation of work carried out.

Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with health, safety, and company procedures.

Deliver a high standard of customer service during site visits.

Escalate complex technical issues to supervisors and technical support teams as required.

Participate in technical training to develop product and system knowledge.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Experience installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting CCTV, electronic security, networking, or technology-based systems.

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.

Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

One of the following:
-
University degree with a suggested minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; or
-
Associate/2-year degree with a suggested minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or
-
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience with CCTV, video management systems (VMS), IP cameras, and security solutions.

Knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP and basic switch configuration.

Experience supporting customers in a field service environment.

Familiarity with access control, intruder alarm, or integrated security systems.

Understanding of data networking and system configuration.
