Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to safety standards and recipes
- Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery to guests with friendly professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and storage spaces
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol service
- Manage cash transactions and process payments efficiently using POS systems
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, answer questions about menu items, and recommend drinks or dishes when appropriate
- Follow food safety regulations diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes is a plus
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tables and bar orders simultaneously
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with food safety standards and protocols in food service environments
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
