Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and accurately to minimise downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations to identify potential hazards or faults.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete installations or repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety standards.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Document all work performed accurately for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
- Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters.
- Strong electrical experience with a thorough understanding of wiring practices, circuit design, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams with ease.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
