Job Purpose
The Retail Warehouse Assistant is responsible for processing, packing, and distributing all online and telephone orders. The role ensures all orders are accurately fulfilled, paperwork is correctly completed, and shipments are properly marked and labelled. This position supports the wider retail operation by maintaining efficient stock movement and contributing to an organised and effective distribution centre.
Knowledge Skills and Experiences
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Physically capable of lifting and moving boxes using correct manual handling methods.
· Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel.
· Understanding of warehouse operations and fulfilment processes.

· Flexibility to work on different projects to meet team priorities.
· Previous experience in a warehouse, stock management, or fulfilment role is desirable.
· Flexibility to work weekends, match-days, and evenings as required.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working in a customer-facing, warehouse, or fulfilment role.
- Experience in order processing, stock handling, or logistics.
- Familiarity with quality checks and shipment preparation.
- Previous experience working to KPIs or performance targets is desirable.
Key Role Requirements
· Pick and prepare stock from appropriate warehouse locations.
· Accurately count and record new deliveries.
· Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and condition of goods.
· Complete associated paperwork and ensure shipments are correctly labelled.
· Maintain organised storage areas and adhere to fulfilment processes.
· Support the warehouse supervisor in maintaining smooth daily operations.
· Assist with physical tasks, including lifting boxes, using safe manual handling methods.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain good relationships and effective communication.
· Meet KPIs and operational standards set by the line manager.
· Adhere to club policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
