Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting experienced A&E Nurses (RGNs) to work at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. We have a range of flexible agency shifts available, allowing you to work when it suits you while earning excellent rates of pay.
As an A&E Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing rapid assessment, treatment and ongoing care to patients presenting with a wide variety of urgent and emergency conditions. Working within a fast-paced Emergency Department, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care.
- Assess, prioritise and deliver care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.

Perform patient triage and identify clinical priorities.

Monitor, assess and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with clinical guidelines.

Assist with emergency procedures and trauma care.

Support the stabilisation and transfer of critically ill patients where required.

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

Communicate effectively with patients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Adhere to NMC standards, infection prevention policies and hospital procedures.
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC Pin.

Minimum of 6 months' recent UK A&E/Emergency Department experience.

Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

Right to work in the UK.

Ability to provide satisfactory employment references.

Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete).
