Overview
We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator with a strong understanding of the glazing industry, though industry knowledge is preferred rather than essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative operations, supporting team management, and ensuring smooth communication within the office. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation
- Manage client and supplier correspondence via phone, email, and other channels with professional phone etiquette
- Utilise Xero for invoicing, bookkeeping, and financial record keeping
- Support human resources functions including onboarding, employee records management, and scheduling
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate team activities to promote productivity
- Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and inventory related to glazing projects
- Assist with preparing reports, proposals, and presentations as required
- Organise meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to glazing
Requirements
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles within a busy environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prior office experience in the glazing industry or related construction sectors is advantageous but not mandatory
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills are required
