Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Fencing and Landscaping Operative to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse fencing and landscaping projects, utilizing your construction experience, gardening skills, and mechanical knowledge. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain various fencing types using hand and power tools.
- Conduct soft landscape installation and maintenance tasks including turfing, planting, pruning, lawn care, and garden tidying to enhance outdoor spaces.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all operations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in fencing installation, landscape maintenance, or construction environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools and irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of gardening practices, horticulture principles, and general site maintenance.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations relevant to outdoor construction work.
- Basic horticultural knowledge to assist with planting schemes and garden upkeep.
Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour
Experience:
- construction site: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
- CSCS card (preferred)
