Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care for one young person in their own home. The role involves supporting the young person, building relationships and following their care plan.
Duties
- Follow their care plan
- Supporting them on their day to day needs
- Administer medication following prescribed guidelines and document accordingly
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervisors
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when needed
Skills
- Previous experience in supporting children
- Driving
- Communication skills
- Organisational skills
