We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and caring Wrap Around Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, safe, and stimulating childcare during our breakfast and after-school clubs. You will create a welcoming, inclusive environment where primary school children can relax, play, and learn outside of standard school hours.
Must Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification
Key Responsibilities
- Activity Planning: Plan, organize, and supervise age-appropriate indoor and outdoor play, arts and crafts, and team games.
- Child Well-being: Ensure a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment that prioritizes the emotional and physical well-being of all children.
- Snack Preparation: Prepare and serve healthy, nutritious breakfasts or afternoon snacks, adhering to food hygiene and allergy guidelines.
- Safeguarding: Maintain a strict commitment to child safety by following all school safeguarding policies, reporting concerns immediately, and maintaining accurate attendance registers.
- Positive Behavior Management: Manage children’s behavior positively, encouraging kindness, sharing, and respect among peers.
- Communication: Greet parents and carers warmly during drop-offs and pick-ups, sharing relevant updates about their child's time at the club.
- Environment Maintenance: Assist with setting up activities before children arrive and cleaning down equipment and spaces at the end of each session.
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
