Role Overview
Cable House is recruiting Warehouse Workers to join its team in Corby. The role involves cable winding, cable stripping, making jump leads, picking and packing orders, stock organisation, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Cable winding and measuring to customer and company specifications
- Cable stripping and preparation of materials for dispatch
- Making and assembling jump leads to required standards
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Packing items securely to company standards to prevent damage during transit
- Retrieving stock from warehouse locations for processing and shipment
- Unboxing, organising, and storing incoming goods correctly
- Maintaining clean, safe, and organised warehouse areas
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to lift 25kg
- Comfortable standing and carrying out physical tasks for extended periods
- Experience in warehouse operations, including pick/pack duties
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and solve problems efficiently
- Customer-focused mindset to ensure high-quality order fulfilment
