Overview
We are seeking experienced Reach or Flexi Drivers to join our dynamic warehouse team. The successful candidates will be responsible for efficiently managing shipping and receiving operations, and operating various warehouse equipment.
Candidates would complete training at the Billingham site for 4 weeks, before transferring to the Hartlepool site on a permanent basis.
Duties
- Operate reach trucks, forklift trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload goods using appropriate handling techniques
- Manage stock levels within the warehouse management system accurately
- Assist with shipping and receiving procedures, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Conduct basic equipment repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure operational safety
- Handle materials with care, adhering to health and safety standards
- Perform inventory checks and maintain organised storage areas
- Support mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance
Experience
- Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklift trucks, or similar warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving processes, and stock organisation
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is advantageous
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures including load & unload operations and inventory management
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
Working on Continental shifts, 4 on 4 off, days and nights.
0600-1800 and 1800 - 0600
Pay £14.84ph, this includes shift allowance.
