Job Title: Technical Sales Administrator

Salary: £26,782
An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Administrator to join our team, based in our Birmingham Office, at the leading & largest trade-only Security Distributor in the UK & Ireland.
This role is a permanent Monday-Friday position with working hours between 8am – 5pm (40-hour week).
Experience and knowledge of being in a Technical Sales advisory role within the Locks & Ironmongery sector would be an advantage but are by no means essential as full training will be given.
Key responsibilities are:
· Answering telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
· Assisting and advising customers with solutions to technical queries
· Facilitating sales transactions by advising customers on suitable products that best meet their needs and encouraging purchases
· Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of technical products to provide suitable recommendations to customers as needed.
· Processing orders accurately and keeping customers up to date with the progress of their order
· Maximising all potential sales opportunities, generating sales revenue and gross profit as per agreed targets and time scales
· Utilising the CRM system as a tool to work out daily priorities, log and track all contacts, companies & customer orders at every stage of the sales process with prospects and clients.
· Building, growing and maintaining both product and industry awareness
You will also be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills as well as perform your duties in a polite and professional manner at all times. You must be customer-focused and computer literate.
