Main Duties
Events
- Liaise with customers to determine their exact event requirements.
- Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, legal obligations, staffing, and budgets).
- Manage and coordinate the running of events.
- Liaise with the General Manager and marketing teams to publicise and promote the event.
- Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and efficiently clear the venue.
- Research opportunities for new customers and events.
- Produce a Profit and Loss statement for each event to assist with budgeting and improvement recommendations.
- Promote previous events by sharing photos, reviews, and quotes from guests.
- Obtain pre-orders for applicable events, working with the Bar Manager and Catering Manager on an appropriate system.
- Organise monthly staff events, including the Christmas party.
Weddings
- Promote the wedding venue through local channels, such as networking events.
- Maintain all licences required for the golf club.
- Meet and greet wedding partners, arrange the day, and ensure everything runs to plan.
Staffing/Front of House
- Organise staff for events, ensuring the best service is provided to every guest while coordinating with the Bar Manager.
- Deliver training for the front-of-house team using the front-of-house training book.
- Maintain clear communication with the housekeeping team regarding table linen requirements for each event.
