Ark construction is a domestic builder that works in and around Sussex. Immediate areas of work include Burgess Hill, Crawley & the Brighton area.
We are looking to expand our team with a general builder that covers a range of work from footings ,ground works , drainage, structural works, through to plaster boarding and mucking in where needed.
Carpenter/ General builder x1 - this role will be a modern domestic carpenter role including all 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, fitting windows and doors, insulating, plaster boards, bespoke joinery also mucking in where needed. Other general building skill will be a bonus.
Both roles require
-Own vehicle and tools.
-1 year + experience in the construction industry.
-Level 2 NVQ for carpenter role.
-Be able to work as part of a team or individually.
-Public liability insurance is preferred.
-Knowledgeable and willingness to learn.
-Looking for someone around 25 years old +
-Able to work safely and efficiently i.e keeping site clean and clear of any trip hazards.
-Own PPE ( we will provide hard hats and hi vis vests).
-Good time management and reliable.
- Net pay will be determine on experience and qualifications.
