ELMO UK is building software that helps organisations deliver better experiences for their people. We care about creating products that are useful, well-crafted and commercially meaningful, and we know great product thinking comes from teams that stay close to customers, work well cross-functionally and keep learning.
Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. ELMO UK is a place where everyone can grow. So however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come into work every day.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to own a product domain end to end, turning company and product direction into clear priorities, discovery activity, delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
This is an individual contributor role at the heart of how we decide what to build and why. You’ll own the strategy, roadmap and priorities for your domain, work closely with Engineering, Design and other stakeholders, and make sure the team is focused on delivering valuable outcomes for customers and the business.
Let’s be clear from the start: this isn’t a role where you simply manage a backlog and wait for delivery to happen. You’ll be the owner of the product’s what and why, bringing together customer insight, commercial judgement and cross-functional collaboration to help the team make smart decisions and deliver meaningful outcomes. You are the problem solver, the prioritiser, and the person helping turn strategy into shipped value.
Owning product strategy and domain direction: Taking ownership of the strategy, roadmap and priorities for an assigned product domain, making sure they align to company goals, OKRs and customer needs.
Leading the product lifecycle: Owning the end-to-end product lifecycle for your domain, from discovery and business case through launch, iteration and ongoing improvement.
Defining the what and why: Acting as the primary owner of the product’s what and why, with a strong understanding of customer problems, business context and desired outcomes.
Driving discovery and validation: Leading discovery activity including customer research, market analysis, stakeholder input and idea validation before delivery begins.
Using insight to shape priorities: Combining qualitative and quantitative insight to identify opportunities, reduce risk and refine priorities.
Giving the team clarity: Making sure the squad has clear product context, decision rationale and success measures throughout delivery.
Owning the backlog: Maintaining a clear, prioritised backlog with well-defined epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Supporting planning and delivery: Leading or actively contributing to agile ceremonies and planning, helping the squad balance value, scope, risk and capacity.
Getting work production ready: Ensuring work is well-shaped before development starts and that blockers, dependencies and trade-offs are surfaced early.
Working cross-functionally: Partnering closely with Engineering, Design, QA, Data and commercial teams to shape solutions and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Building strong stakeholder relationships: Communicating clearly across technical and non-technical audiences and creating productive partnerships across the business.
Contributing to go-to-market impact: Supporting launch readiness, value proposition work and stakeholder communications for changes within your domain.
Using commercial judgement well: Prioritising work that improves customer value, adoption, retention and wider business outcomes.
Tracking success and managing risk: Defining KPIs, reporting on success metrics, and managing risks, issues, defects and compliance considerations in a timely and pragmatic way.
Maintaining quality and governance: Keeping documentation strong and ensuring delivery aligns with information security, privacy and wider governance requirements.
You Start with People: You stay close to customer problems and make thoughtful decisions that reflect real user needs.
You Own It, Together: You take real ownership of your domain, work collaboratively across teams and stay focused on outcomes rather than activity.
You believe that Clear Is Kind: You communicate clearly, explain decisions well, and make sure stakeholders and teams have the clarity they need to move forward.
You think strategically: You can translate company and product direction into practical priorities, roadmap choices and delivery plans.
You’re strong in discovery: You know how to explore problems properly, validate ideas and use evidence to shape better decisions.
You know how to prioritise: You can manage a backlog effectively and balance value, scope, risk and capacity in a pragmatic way.
You’re commercially minded: You understand how product choices affect customer value, adoption, retention and wider business outcomes.
You collaborate well: You work confidently with Engineering, Design, QA, Data and commercial stakeholders, and you’re comfortable across technical and non-technical conversations.
You use data and evidence well: You define success clearly, track meaningful metrics and use insight to guide your next move.
You’re comfortable with complexity: Whether the domain is customer-facing or more technical, you can work through ambiguity, trade-offs and cross-functional challenges with confidence.
