This role sits within the IT Data Steward Team within the IT Customer Applications area and plays an important part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of customer data across NFU Mutual systems. As an IT Data Steward, you’ll focus on the day-to-day management of customer records, ensuring data is correctly deduplicated, investigated, and resolved in line with agreed standards and processes.
You’ll work across source systems, customer relationship management platforms, and master data management layers, identifying and resolving data issues and trends. Alongside this, you’ll engage with colleagues and stakeholders across the business to validate data, correct inaccuracies and reduce data quality risks.
The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement by identifying root causes of data issues and recommending enhancements to processes and ways of working. As part of this, you may use simple SQL queries to explore data and support investigations, but full training and support will be provided where needed. You’ll be supported by Senior Data Stewards, Data Analysts, and the IT Team Leader as you build your technical knowledge and capability within the team. This role is based in Stratford-upon-Avon and reports to an IT Team Leader.
