Regional Class 2 Driver – Covering Southeast/southwest
Star Platforms is one of the fastest-growing powered access hire companies in the UK. With seven depots nationwide, a modern fleet of hire equipment, and the latest purpose-built 32t HGV rigid vehicles, we are continuing to expand and invest in both our people and our equipment.
We are currently seeking a Class 2 Regional Driver to carry out deliveries and collections safely, compliantly, and professionally. This role offers variety and travel, and the successful candidate must be willing to stay away from home when required (accommodation provided) to support dispatch operations across up to seven depot locations.

- Reading Depot RG7 4PW
- Bridgwater Depot TA6 5FB
The Role & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering and collecting a range of powered access machinery across multiple depots within the region. Acting as the face of the business, you will represent the company professionally while dealing directly with customers on site, ensuring a consistently high standard of service.
Day to day duties:
- Delivering and collecting powered access equipment (including cherry pickers and scissor lifts) in a safe and professional manner
- Ensuring load security during loading, transportation, and unloading
- Conducting daily and weekly vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Adhering to all Health & Safety standards and safe working practices
- Providing excellent customer service at all delivery and collection points
What we are looking for:
- Ideally have experience in multi-drop deliveries
- Preferably have experience transporting, loading, and unloading plant or construction equipment (full training provided for the right candidate)
- Understand the importance of excellent customer service and be confident building relationships
- Be able to work well under pressure in a varied, fast-paced role
- Demonstrate a flexible and positive attitude, adapting to meet the day-to-day needs of the driving team.

- HGV Class 2 Licence
- Digital Tacho Card
- Driver CPC
