Summary
As a Live-in Carer at Acquire Care, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive at home. This position is essential to our mission of delivering compassionate and personalized care.
You will be living 24/7 with the client on a rota basis, supporting their needs and requirements in their own home.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance their well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes to management.
Requirements
- Experience in senior or patient care is essential.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary requirements.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is preferred.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
