To provide high-quality, person-centered care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. The Care Assistant will deliver compassionate care tailored to each person's individual needs while promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Support individuals with eating, drinking, and meal preparation where required.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate and timely care records and documentation.
- Support clients with daily living activities while encouraging independence.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and promote well-being.
- Follow individual care plans and contribute to their ongoing review.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns immediately.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures.
- Comply with health and safety policies and use equipment safely.
- Respect confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements.
- Participate in mandatory training, supervision, and team meetings.
