Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Fitted Furniture Sales Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing customised fitted furniture solutions, engaging with clients to understand their needs, and delivering visually compelling designs that maximise space and aesthetic appeal. Duties
- Collaborate with clients to assess their requirements and preferences for fitted furniture solutions.
- Create detailed digital designs using programmes such as SketchUp, CAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Develop visual presentations incorporating photography, graphic design, and web design principles to effectively communicate ideas.
- Utilise software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects to produce high-quality visual content.
- Prepare accurate technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing teams.
- Assist in selecting colours, materials, and finishes that align with client expectations and current trends.
- Maintain an organised portfolio of design projects and stay updated on industry innovations.
- Support the sales team by providing design consultations and presentations during client meetings.
Experience
- Proven experience in digital design, preferably within furniture or interior design sectors.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD software, and other 3D modelling tools such as Maya or Sketch.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Knowledge of web design fundamentals including HTML and CSS is advantageous.
- Experience with photography to produce high-quality images of completed projects.
- A background in graphic design or visual communication is desirable.
- Familiarity with industry standards for fitted furniture design and manufacturing processes. Candidates should demonstrate creativity, technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, organisational ability, and a keen eye for detail to succeed in this role.
Pay: £24,420.00-£26,000.00 per year
