Job description:
Full-Time Food and Beverage Supervisor
We are seeking a full-time Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our dedicated, friendly team and be at the heart of the action – greeting, serving and looking after our members. Full training will be provided, however, some hospitality experience is essential. What we are looking for is someone who is passionate about customer service in a thriving members’ club, likes to keep busy and is willing to learn.
As a Supervisor, you will be expected to play a key role in the team, working alongside the Bar Manager in both the bar and kitchen. You will work as part of the team and motivate and encourage others, and also train new personnel. The work will include completing daily checks and cleaning schedules. You will also be a keyholder and will be responsible for opening and closing the club.
Hours are negotiable and will include weekdays, weekends and evening shifts on a rota. Working hours range from 08.30 to 23.00.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A passion for food and an ability to prepare dishes
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well in a team but also be a strong team leader
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to deal with day-to-day issues
- Good numeracy and cash-handling skills (knowledge of the Epos Now till system would be an advantage).
Please provide a covering letter with your application, stating how your skills match this role. CVs which are submitted without a covering letter will not be considered.
