Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Stainless Steel Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to create high-quality products that meet precise specifications. Duties
- Perform TIG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas welding) on diverse metal materials to ensure clean, precise welds that meet quality standards
- Execute welding techniques, adapting to different metal types and thicknesses as required for each project
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other metal components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately fabricate parts and assemblies
- Measure materials accurately using basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment during fabrication and assembly processes
- Conduct inspections of welds and fabricated parts for quality control, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, supporting the construction of complex structures or products
Qualifications
- Proven experience with TIG welding and other welding techniques, with a strong understanding of welding safety protocols
- Knowledge of welding standards and practices is highly desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in sheet metal work
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of fabrication processes and assembly procedures
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during fabrication tasks
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics accurately
- Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills
