HardSoft is a leading technology leasing and lifecycle management company. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our Deployment team based at our office in Harlow.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse duties with the use of our bespoke stock management systems. As a result, strong IT skills are essential, as a significant part of the role involves working on a computer to process orders, manage stock movements and communicate with other departments.
This is a Monday to Friday role with no shift work, evenings or weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Accepting and checking incoming deliveries
- Booking stock into our bespoke stock management system
- Putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Repacking IT equipment for dispatch
- Preparing shipments for courier collection
- Updating records accurately using our internal systems
- Liaising with Sales, Procurement and other departments to ensure orders are processed efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse
- Supporting the Deployment team with general warehouse and logistics activities
What We're Looking For
- Strong IT skills and confidence using computer systems
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, organised and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the day
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
