We are looking for a highly attentive, detail-oriented person to produce dot cards and carry out other precise, hands-on tasks.
A dot card involves carefully applying small, consistent dots of material onto sample cards in specific positions. The dots need to be neat, uniform, correctly placed, and consistent from card to card. This is repetitive, precision-based work where even small differences or mistakes are noticeable, so patience, accuracy, and consistency are essential.
The role requires someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong concentration, tidy and organised working habits, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to accurately distinguish very fine visual details. You should be comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks to a consistently high standard, following exact instructions, and checking your own work carefully.
We are particularly looking for someone who is naturally meticulous, patient, reliable, clean and methodical in the way they work. Quality and accuracy are more important than speed, although the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard is important.
