Reports to: Factory Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Factory Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness across the factory, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring stock is moved and stored in the correct locations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and can work well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining the factory and work areas to a high standard
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Moving stock and materials to the correct locations within the factory
- Supporting other factory operatives as required
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Carrying out general factory duties as needed
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm
Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive rate of pay
- Weekly attendance bonus (paid subject to full attendance)
Skills & Requirements:
- Good timekeeping and attendance record
- Ability to carry out physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a positive work attitude
- Previous factory or warehouse experience an advantage, but not essential
