We require a Sous Chef to join the team at SHU Restaurant. As Sous Chef you will assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen and take responsibility with our other Senior Chefs in his absence. The ability to help lead and develop a team of chefs is important and being a team player is essential.
Essential criteria
- Minimum two years experience in high quality restaurants or hotels
- Commitment in delivering the highest standards
- Must be a great team player
- Must be able to read, follow instructions and converse fluently in the English language
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in fine dining style restaurants or Michelin Bib Gourmand & 2 AA Rosette level or higher restaurants
- An appropriate qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or higher in catering
