Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in team management. This role involves supervising staff, managing retail or sales environments, and ensuring organisational objectives are met efficiently. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams and customer bases. The Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of service, merchandising, and operational excellence, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Supervise daily store or operational activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Manage staff schedules, organise shifts, and oversee performance management processes
- Implement merchandising strategies to optimise product presentation and maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain effective communication with team members and senior management through clear phone etiquette and organisational skills
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control, and coordinate with suppliers as necessary
- Provide training and mentorship to new staff members, fostering a positive work environment
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring client satisfaction at all times
- Analyse sales data and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and organisational standards
Experience
- Proven supervisory or management experience within hospitality or sales environments
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are advantageous
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management is preferred
- Previous administrative experience including time management and organisational tasks is desirable
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
