The role available is for an Equipment Tester and the main duties of this role are:
- To clean, maintain and service equipment once it is returned from a hire
- To perform electrical testing on all equipment that is returned from a hire
- To maintain the high standards of our workshops by keeping your work-space clean and tidy
- To carry out minor repairs on equipment
- To ensure that all safety information labels are displayed in a clear and precise way on all equipment
- Input testing information onto customised computer system
Qualifications
- Valid driving license
- Ability to follow testing procedures accurately
- Attention to detail and ability to identify equipment faults
- Strong communication skills to report findings effectively
Previous tool hire experience is not necessary as we will provide you with all the relevant product knowledge and training that you require, to include PAT Testing, IPAF & PASMA courses, Manual Handling, Fork Lift Truck training and many more.
Applicants are preferred to hold a full UK driving licence.
**This role is currently a Monday - Friday position, however at some time in the future the depots may re-open for trading on Saturday mornings. If this is the case then you will be expected to work Saturdays on a rota basis.
