Greenacre Property Services is looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team on a flexible, part-time, zero-hours basis.
This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson looking for additional work alongside existing commitments, with the opportunity to increase hours and potentially move into a full-time position as the business continues to grow. Or alternatively a candidate wanting to reduce hours.
IMPORTANT
Please only apply if you are comfortable working independently, travelling to client sites across the South West region spanning from Cardiff to Reading, and participating in an evening and weekend on-call rota.
About the Role
You'll attend a variety of reactive maintenance call-outs, repairs, planned maintenance works, installations and refurbishment projects for both commercial and domestic clients.
Work is varied and no two days are the same. We are looking for someone who can diagnose problems, find practical solutions, and deliver a high standard of workmanship with minimal supervision.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for experience in several of the following areas:
✔ Plumbing repairs and maintenance
✔ Tiling and grouting
✔ Flooring repairs and installations
✔ Basic carpentry including door fitting and repairs
✔ Patch plastering and decorating
✔ Shop fit-outs and refurbishment works
✔ Basic drainage knowledge
✔ General property maintenance and handyman tasks
✔ Basic electrical fault finding and repairs (non-qualified)
Working Pattern
- Part-time, zero-hours contract
- Hours offered according to workload and client demand
- Daytime work available throughout the week
- Participation in an evening and weekend on-call rota required
- Overtime opportunities available
- Potential progression to a permanent full-time role as the business expands
Travel & Area Covered
Work is generally carried out across the South West region, covering areas roughly between Cardiff and Reading.

- Mileage paid when using your own vehicle
What We're Looking For
✔ Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance, property services or multi-trade work

✔ Ability to work independently

✔ Full UK Driving Licence

Pay: £16.79-£18.62 per hour
