· Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments.
· Maintaining the purchase ledger.
· Checking that accounts are accurate.
· Using basic computerised accounting systems, and ensuring all information is entered on system.
· Processing and balancing Petty Cash Sheets.
· Maintaining all financial records and data accurately and within agreed systems.
· Maintaining Resident and Personnel files ensuring all data is correct and compliant.
· Prepare and submit the monthly wages to the Accountant.
· HR – Staff files, GDPR, Annual Leave and sickness absence recording.
· Placing orders and maintaining stocks as advised by the Home Manager.
· Liaising with Outside Agencies to ensure Resident Contracts and Scheduled payments are correct and timely.
· Liaising with people both internal and external to the Home including Management, Creditor, Supplier and general enquiries.
· Participating in Staff and Client meetings, as and when required.
· Actively marketing the Home and promoting a positive personal / professional profile within the local community, and ensuring the good reputation of the Home at all times.
· Introduce and promote the home to potential residents and their families/friends.
· Attending mandatory training days / courses, on or off site, as and when required.
· Maintaining professional knowledge and competence.
Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
