Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Walsingham, Norfolk, UK
Contract & Hours – Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday
Package includes a starting salary from £60,000 a performance related bonus scheme, a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and reward your impact, and a matched pension contribution of up to 10%.

You’ll lead engineering at our Walsingham site, improving reliability, ensuring compliance, and moving the team from reactive fixes to a more planned, preventative way of working. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with your team and site leaders to strengthen performance and shape the future of engineering.
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop the site engineering team, staying visible and hands-on
- Drive a shift to preventative maintenance and improve equipment reliability
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and statutory requirements
- Build maintenance plans and support capital investment priorities
- Work closely with operations to improve overall site performance
What we’re looking for
- Engineering leadership experience in manufacturing or a similar site environment
- A hands-on, practical leadership style with strong team engagement
- Experience improving maintenance and moving from reactive to planned approaches
- Good understanding of compliance, safety, and engineering standards
- Strong problem-solving and the ability to prioritise effectively
Nice to have
- Experience in feed, food, agriculture, or process industries
- BOAS or BOAS-M (desirable, not essential)
