Befab is Northern Ireland's leading Roof Sheeting, Purlin and Flashing supplier. We are currently seeking Operator’s Assistants to commence work immediately at our Comber factory. Employees enjoy a variety of responsibilities in the handling and manufacturing of metal roofing products.
Duties:
· Loading and offloading of lorries and other vehicles safely.
· Assisting and dealing with customers
· Check and record received goods
· Prepare loads to go out the following day.
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies and procedures
What you'll need:·
· Experience driving a forklift essential, forklift Licence would be advantageous
· Previous experience of working in working yard or factory environment
· The ability to travel to work and good timekeeping
· Willingness to learn new skills
· Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work
· Good communication skills, with a customer focused attitude
· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Previous experience of working in factory environment would be an advantage but not a necessity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39.0 per week
