Job Overview
We are a growing group of companies within the property industry, seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This is a pivotal role with responsibility for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across the group, while maintaining strong control over day-to-day finance operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in financial services and accounting software to contribute to organisational growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for multiple entities
- Consolidate results and provide variance analysis and commentary
- Support budgeting and forecasting
- Perform intercompany reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Prepare VAT returns and statutory submissions
- Identify process improvements
Qualifications
- Fully or nearly qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- Experience preparing management accounts end-to-end
- Experience working with multi-entity businesses
- Strong bookkeeping and systems experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with Xero is desirable
Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Derby (Derbyshire, East Midlands Region)
