Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Hayes, UB3 | £50,000–£60,000 DOE
Think Care Group is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager for a new Ofsted-regulated Children’s Residential Home in Hayes.
You will lead the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, compliance, and positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and staff team
- Ensure safeguarding and child-centred care
- Maintain Ofsted compliance and Quality Standards
- Lead inspections, audits, and quality assurance
- Develop staff through recruitment, supervision, and training
- Build strong relationships with local authorities and professionals
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and budgets
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Significant experience in Children’s Residential Care
- Previous management/senior leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
- Eligible to register with Ofsted
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS required
Desirable
- Experience achieving Good/Outstanding Ofsted ratings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, PACE, Team Teach, or therapeutic care models
- Relevant degree (Social Work, Psychology, Education, Health, etc.)
