Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food, catering, and delivering exceptional service. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of meal and food preparation within a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall dining experience. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food presentation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Support catering operations by preparing ingredients and assembling meals for events
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency across all dishes
- Help with stock control, including receiving deliveries and storing supplies correctly
- Support team members during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and ingredients
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices is desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic food preparation skills will be beneficial
- Experience in serving customers in a hospitality setting is a plus
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills are highly valued
