Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Children's Activity Athletics Coach to inspire young children (8-11 years) through engaging sports and physical activities. In this role, you will lead fun, safe, and structured athletic sessions that promote teamwork, physical development, and confidence. Duties
- Plan and deliver dynamic sports activities tailored to children’s age groups and skill levels
- Lead warm-up exercises, skill drills, games, and cool-down routines to ensure safe participation
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence-building
- Monitor children closely during activities to ensure safety and proper technique
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to help children understand activity rules and objectives
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress and participation
- Maintain equipment, organize activity spaces, and ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
Skills
- Previous sports coaching experience with children or youth populations
- Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to explain skills clearly and motivate young learners
- Excellent communication skills to engage children, parents, and team members effectively
- Ability to create inclusive activities that accommodate diverse needs and skill levels
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles through sports
- Organizational skills to plan sessions efficiently and manage equipment responsibly
