Complexus Care is recruiting experienced Female Support Workers to join a new team supporting a young female client with complex needs, including quadriplegic cerebral palsy (GMFCS 4–5), microcephaly, scoliosis, Reynard’s Syndrome and a gastrostomy. You will be required to drive the client’s vehicle.
Bengali/Punjabi/Urdu speakers are encouraged to apply. The family use both English and Bengali at home; Bengali helps build trust and rapport, while strong English is essential for care delivery and documentation.
What You’ll Do
- Work day or night shifts on a rota (weekdays & weekends)
- Provide person-centred support at home and in the community
- Assist with activities such as shopping, cooking, baking, bowling, museums and theatre trips
- Work collaboratively within a dedicated care team
- Occasionally support night shifts and holidays away from home
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced in Complex Care
- Trustworthy, reliable and proactive
- Confident working both independently and within a team
- Outgoing, active and respectful in your approach
- Bilingual (English, Bengali, Punjabi/Urdu) preferred
- Non-smokers only (strict non-smoking household)
- Strong English skills essential; communication/cognitive rehab experience beneficial (training provided)
Shifts
Day shift: Term & non-term hours
Day Shift Non Term Time - Monday to Sunday: 09:30 - 21:30
Day Shift Term Time - Monday & Tuesday: 15:30 - 21:30, Wednesday: 13:30 - 21:30, Thursday to Sunday: 09:30 - 21: 30.
Night Shift - 21:30 - 09:30
