Gas Central Heating Service Engineers – Join Our Friendly, Professional Team
We’re a well-established heating company with a strong base of private clients and are looking for two skilled Gas Central Heating Service Engineers to help us meet growing demand.
You’ll join an experienced, supportive team where the focus is on high-quality work & excellent customer service.
About the Role
You’ll primarily service and repair domestic gas boilers and fires for private clients. The work involves fault-finding, diagnostics, general plumbing and electrical knowledge, and occasional boiler/heating system installations. You’ll also keep accurate records (job sheets, quotations and warning notices) and stay up to date with current legislation.
Essential Requirements
- At least 3 years’ relevant industry experience
- Driving licence
- Valid ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 and CPA
- Ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills
- Competence in basic fault-finding, S- and Y-plan systems, combi boilers, and basic plumbing/electrical repairs
- Knowledge of recent changes in legislation
Desirable (not essential)
- Oil-fired heating experience or OFTEC qualifications (101, 105, 600)
- Air-source heat pump experience and F-Gas certification
- Air-conditioning experience and F-Gas certification
