The Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Forklift Operator to join our team. This is a varied role that combines forklift operation and general warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift truck to load, unload, and move stock throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive and check incoming deliveries.
- Organise and store stock within the warehouse.
- Assist with stock control and inventory checks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Support other warehouse operations as required.
Essential Requirements
- Valid forklift truck licence/certification.
- Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to help across different areas of the warehouse.
Desirable Skills
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
- Experience using both Reach and Counterbalance Forklifts
- Experience using warehouse management systems.
- Previous experience within an eCommerce or distribution environment.
