The Whisky Shop is the largest specialist retailer on the UK high street with 22 branches located from Inverness in the Scottish Highlands to London, Brighton and Exeter in the south of England.
We opened in Leeds during Autumn 2023 and are now looking for a new part time member of staff to join our team.
We are looking for a dedicated and hard working part time sales assistant for this shop where we attract many types of whisky fans, from collectors and connoisseurs to those wanting to discover new and unique expressions and gift buyers.
We pride ourselves on quality customer service to match the quality of the products we have to offer our clientele.
Our ideal candidate will already have some retail experience but also this position could be suited to a student looking for weekend work
A knowledge of or interest in whisky would of course be a benefit for this role.
Our staff focus is first and foremost to customer service and to the the quality of retail required for such an important store. They will be tasked with carrying out all retail roles including, sales, cash handling merchandising, brand knowledge, general cleanliness of the store, stock control, communication with team members, customers and management.
We have our own Whisky Club and host tasting events for our club members.
Furthermore we offer a mail order service, click and collect service and an on-line whisky auction which our store staff need to be involved with.
Our preferred candidate will possess a dedication and commitment to the role, a willingness to learn and take direction, be flexible enough to ensure the store will always operate as it should, have a personality and manner to ensure a good working relationship with other staff and happy customers and ultimately have the enthusiasm for the shop, sales and our products.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
