Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Supervisor to oversee and coordinate civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, supervising experience, and proficiency in deep drainage, basement construction and bulk earthworks . This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead construction activities, ensure project compliance, and deliver quality results within specified timelines. The Civil Supervisor will play a pivotal role in managing teams, liaising with clients and contractors, and maintaining safety standards on-site.
Duties
- Supervise daily civil engineering operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations
- Coordinate and manage civil construction activities, including site preparation, excavation, and groundwork
- Lead and oversee teams of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow
- Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets; implement corrective actions as necessary
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to communicate project updates and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies at all times
- Prepare reports on project status, resource utilisation, and potential risks for senior management
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within civil engineering or construction projects
- Supervising experience on large-scale civil works projects is essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are preferred SSSTS
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- A valid UK driving licence is desirable

Pay: From £250.00 per day
